Eric Isaac
Lead Pastor
Eric Isaac has served as our founding pastor since Neighborhood Church’s launch in August 2018. Eric is responsible for teaching, leading our missional communities and directing our church's vision. Eric teaches at Florida International University in both the School of International and Public Affairs and College of Arts and Sciences. Eric helped found the Christian Studies certificate at the University, designs courses, and occasionally teaches abroad. He was born and raised in Miami and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and holds two master's degrees: A Masters of Arts in Theology & Religious Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Eric is married to his wife, Julie. They would love to meet you and tell you how great their dog is.
Daniel Rojas
Elder
Rev. Daniel Rojas is married to Luann and is a father of five. He has 28 years of experience in pastoral ministry and holds a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry. Daniel began his ministerial career by planting First Love Church in Miami, Florida and served as its associate and later senior pastor. He also served as the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Hialeah and was a chaplain for Signature Healthcare. As the director and speaker of El Faro de Redención, a daily broadcast reaching Cuba and beyond, he shares programs centered on Christ’s redeeming work. Daniel is part of the preaching team at Neighborhood Church Miami, where he provides pastoral care and counseling, creates the Sunday liturgy, and coordinates the praise team. His extensive experience and dedication to ministry reflect his commitment to serving the spiritual needs of his community.
Douglas Hale
Elder
Douglas or “Doug” as he is known to his family and friends, has been married to Olivia for 51 years, is father of 5 adult children, and has 7 grandchildren. He is currently an Elder at Miami Neighborhood Church. Doug served with World Team for 7 years as part of a church planting team in the Dominican Republic. God called him to the marketplace in 1990 to work with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where he was Executive Director of Small and Midsize Business for 25 years. Upon retirement in 2015, Doug became Sr. VP of Business Development with Business Finance USA and CEO of Business Consultants USA. Doug has a BA in Biblical Education from Columbia International University and completed Masters-level courses in “C” Level Marketing, International Trade Development and Business Finance. He also holds insurance licenses in Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas. Doug is a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Panama Canal Zone.
